The Quebec government has just made official the list of 37 artificial intelligence innovation projects for which it will provide $9.28 million in support. The call for projects was concluded last April, and the 37 projects selected represent a total investment of $23.11 million. This call for projects comprises three distinct funding voices:

This Quebec government investment program is part of Quebec’s Research and Innovation Investment Strategy 2022-2027. This multi-year initiative of over $7.5 billion seeks to invest in sustainable and inclusive research and innovation so that Quebec can excel on a global scale and create more economic and social wealth, but also to enable Quebec to at least have the gap in labor productivity with Ontario in the business sector by 2027.
